That's how old our little nugget is. On April 28th, that is. I'm late as usual.
We have a major snack monster on our hands. 10 minutes after breakfast, he wants a snack. 10 minutes after lunch, he wants a snack. Same with dinner. This kid never. stops. eating!
This is my favorites stage so far. I've loved all the stages of course. And I do love little babies. But he is just so much fun right now. He has such a big personality and can play with us which is why I think it's so much fun.
It's a good thing he's so much fun because he just about matches it with messes made. I'm pretty sure this is how his thinking goes:
Hmm, what would be the worst thing for mom to clean up?
Dumping the jar of olive oil (check)
Dumping out the syrup (check)
Paint myself and the bathroom with pink lipstick (check)
It's amazing how fast he can make a mess when my back is turned.
He's starting to talk a little and it's just the cutest thing ever! He says bye bye, (his favorite word because he always wants to go somewhere) daddy, mommy, hello, shoes (kind of, because he knows he needs them to go bye bye) and cookie (that's the most important right?).
He LOVES being outside which is great since Sam and I also being outdoors. He also loves anything with water.
Rewind. When Sam found out we were having a boy he was really excited because he would have a gaming buddy.
Fast foreword. Sam has taught him to game. Only problem, Daxton doesn't share. He thought he was getting a gaming buddy but as Sam starts to play the Wii or Xbox Daxton demands the controller. (Yes he's spoiled. Yes we are paying the consequences.) It's really funny to watch.
We love this little boy like crazy. He is extremely independent and likes to do everything himself and do everything that mom and dad does. He loves nursery and cries when we come to pick him up. For as independent as he is, he is also sweet. He gives the best kisses and hugs that just wraps us further around his little finger.
